My wife has Crohns Disease can anyone help me understand how you get it? How to help my wife with the issue of having it?

do a search online or ask your wife if she would mind if you came to the doctor with her to ask questions. it is very nice that you are trying to be so supportive and understanding.

I was about to do something awesome again, but I told myself, "Enough is enough! That's plenty of awesome for one day."

"They say that marriage is about making two lives into one... nobody told me that meant we both would end up becoming HIM"

JessicaC thank you for the advice. I've tried looking online but it don't tell me much. Now me and my wife are apart she can't stand to be around men so I can't go with her.

They don't know how you get it, some say it is hereditary some say it's environmental no one knows.

The best possible way you can help your wife is to just be there for her when she needs you. It is a very painful disease and affects you emotionally.

Are you separated permanently or is she just going through some adjustments with her new diagnosis??

I hope things work out for the two of you,, she will need your support.

Thank you so much for that. I can't tell you what is going on it is up to her who she tells. She had a mental break down. It has nothing to do with Crohn's Disease. I just asked because I thought man could have caused it.

That's ok, I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just wanting you to know that she will need your support throughout this. And by no means did you or she cause this..

I hope everything works out for the both of you. Stay strong!!
